First Suburbicon Photos Land: George Clooney’s Next Directorial Effort

The first couple of photos from George Clooney’s next film Suburbicon have landed online. The film will do the rounds at the late 2017 festivals, including TIFF, where it was announced to play late yesterday afternoon.

Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, Noah Jupe and Oscar Isaac lead the cast of Suburbicon, a film that is scripted by Clooney, Ethan Coen, Joel Coen and Grant Heslov.

Suburbicon is a peaceful, idyllic suburban community with affordable homes and manicured lawns…the perfect place to raise a family, and in the summer of 1959, the Lodge family is doing just that. But the tranquil surface masks a disturbing reality, as husband and father Gardner Lodge (Matt Damon) must navigate the town’s dark underbelly of betrayal, deceit, and violence. This is a tale of very flawed people making very bad choices. This is Suburbicon.

The film has a release date set for November 3rd in the U.S. and November 24th in the U.K. Here are those new photos.
