When Ron Howard took over directing duties on the in-production stand-alone Star Wars movie featuring the character of Han Solo, we were sure that this question would eventually come up – will his brother, Clint Howard, who has made appearances in most of Ron’s movies, turn up in he space saga? Well, a fan put that question to directly to Ron Howard on Twitter this week, and they got a very positive reply. Take a look:

Well, along with this, Howard also tweeted another image, one featuring a very familiar character, an R2-D2-like droid.

Shooting continues on the as-yet-untitled Han Solo movie, which will release in cinemas next May. According to the legendary filmmaker, work is “coming along great,” following original directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord leaving the project rather abruptly earlier in the summer.
“It’s a fantastic script, a great cast and I am having a fantastic creative experience with it,” Ron told The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s a great young cast, incredibly strong — smart, funny people who love their characters and love being part of this. I think we’ll be able to do something that is a lot of fun.”
We can’t wait.
