Here’s Your First Look At The Shazam Movie Script

I’m not sure about anyone else, but I’m really looking forward to the Shazam movie. The film is set up over at Warner Brothers, and is just one of the stand-alone DC movies in the pipeline. David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) is directing the film for the studio, and a release date has been set for the summer of 2019. Well, Sandberg has taken to Twitter over the weekend to share what looks like a page from the screenplay for the forthcoming movie.

Take a look at this.

As well as sharing the above script page with the world, Sandberg has also been speaking to the Toronto Sun, and what attracted him to the project.

“The big attraction for me with that character is the fact that every kid dreams of being Superman, right? I mean I certainly did, and [Billy Batson] is a kid that gets that chance,” he said. “He gets to become the superhero. So it’ll be big with superpowers in a way. In terms of what people can expect, I think this will be one of the more fun or lighthearted movies so far in the DC universe. It certainly will be a departure.”

Shazam will reportedly be the next DC movie to go before cameras over at Warner Brothers, the studio where Sandberg’s next film will be releases at the end of the week, Annabelle: Creation.

Well be bringing you more on the Shazam movie as it comes our way.
