Warner Bros. Pictures, through Empire magazine, have provided us with our very first look at Olivia Cooke as the character of Art3mis in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming Ready Player One. The feature adaptation of Ernest Cline’s novel will arrive in cinemas next March.
Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg, T.J. Miller, Hannah John-Kamen and Ben Mendelsohn all feature in Ready Player One, a futuristic motion picture full of 1980s references, though set in a dystopian 2044. Thestory follows protagonist Wade Watts (Sheridan) on his search for an Easter egg in a virtual reality.
Spielberg directs from a screenplay by Cline, Zak Penn and Eric Eason.
