Tom Hardy, Channing Tatum Wanted For ‘Beverly Hills Cop 4?’

Here’s an interesting rumour that has just found its way online. It appears that none other than arguably Britain’s greatest working actor Tom Hardy and current Kingsman star Channing Tatum are being eyed for the fourth movie in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing Beverly Hills Cop 4 for Paramount, and the two recently appeared on a Dutch TV show where they said that they were allegedly interested in both actors for a key role alongside Eddie Murphy in the planned film.

Joblo.com report the news that the pair appeared on “De wereld draait door” chat show, and said that they had held a sort of “audition for Eddie Murphy” for the film.

Joblo reports that the planned sequel, produced by Jerry Brucheimer, ‘would be made on a $50 million dollar budget, they will shoot primarily in Detroit, and that they’re in the process of casting Axel Foley’s counterpart for the action adventure.’

We’re assuming that Hardy and Tatum are being eyed for that role.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are best known for the outstanding piece of work Black from a couple of years ago, a film which caught the eye of Bruckheimer, who then hired them for the next film in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise.

More news as it is fired our way.
