A series of new posters have been released for the upcoming Pacific Rim sequel, Pacific Rim Uprising. John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Jing Tian, Wesley Wong, Lily Ji , Lan Yingying, Qian Yongchen, Zhang Jin, and newcomers Cailee Spaeny and Chen Zitong are amongst the cast. Steven S. DeKnight (Marvel’s Daredevil) directs.
It’s been ten years since The Battle of the Breach and the oceans are still, but restless. Vindicated by the victory at the Breach, the Jaeger program has evolved into the most powerful global defense force in human history. The PPDC now calls upon the best and brightest to rise up and become the next generation of heroes. When the Kaiju threat returns, we will be ready.
The film is heading to cinemas on March 23rd, 2018, but is expected to have a huge presence at the forthcoming New York Comic Con, where we will get a new trailer for the film.
