Movies and Casinos share a special relation. There have been numerous movies based on casino themes. At the same time, there have been various online casino games which are themed on movies. The Hangover: After the great success of the first part of the series back in 2009, producers have decided to make its sequels. This movie has attracted various players to try the Blackjack at once when Alan (a character from the movie) has raised $80,000 ransom money from the Blackjack table at a casino in Las Vegas to help out his friend cum sister’s husband who was held hostage by an Asian gangster known as Chow. There is a very small session where Alan raises the money in no time on the game table as it has been shown earlier in the movie that he has read several books on card counting and it’s not hard for him. Alan (Zach Galifianakis) also quoted “Gambling? Who said anything about gambling? It’s not gambling when you know you’re gonna win. Counting cards is a foolproof system.”

60 Minutes to Winning Blackjack (2005): Want to learn the basics of the game, then you must watch this movie. You will not only be taught to play confidently but will also be taught various skills and offer various exercises too.

21:  Released back in 2008, 21 is a film based on true story and mostly focuses on real events. A group of MIT students have been taken to a tour, under their professor Micky Rosa who has taught them various skills to count cards and using team tactics to take on to the Vegas casinos.

The students have broken themselves into two groups: spotters and the big players. The spotters play with the minimum bet while counting the deck and if the counts are in favour then they signal the big players to take the advantage.

Rain Man: Released back in 2008 this movie shows a story of two brothers starring Dustin Hoffman and the famous Tom Cruise. Dustin has a great memory ability to memorize the numbers which led Tom to take Dustin to play Blackjack and make big cash.

The Gambler: This is an intense movie released back in 2014 which is a sequel to 1974 film “The Gambler”. Jim Bennett (Wahlberg) is the lead role in and as The Gambler. Bennett always does well at Blackjack but get null by betting everything he has on a roulette wheel.

With each release, the casino-theme based movies have increased the craze among the viewers. These popular movies have an unbelievable fan base which makes the movies highly successful and blockbusters.
