FX Networks has released the very first teaser for The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, which is set to air in 2018. The network has said specifically that the new season of the Ryan Murphy creation will hit FX on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. There has not been an announcement on UK air dates as yet.
The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story revolves around the Fashion designer and wealthy fashion mogul Gianni Versace who was shot outside his home on July 15, 1997 as part of a killing-spree by Andrew Cunanan. The series will track Cunanan’s crimes leading up to the killing of Versace and beyond.
Edgar Ramirez, Darren Criss, Ricky Martin and Penelope Cruz lead the cast of ‘Versace’, which is executive produced by Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Alexis Martin Woodall, Tom Rob Smith and Dan Minahan. Murphy also directed the opening episode.
