One of our favourite movies of the latter part of this year in the upcoming The Disaster Artist, James Franco’s feature that looks into the making of the cult film The Room, one that is heralded as being the Citizen Kane of bad movies. The new The Disaster Artist trailer has just been released online, which you can watch in the player below.
The picture is based on Greg Sestero’s best-selling tell-all about the making of Tommy Wiseau’s cult-classic disasterpiece The Room (“The Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made”).
Franco, brother Dave Franco, and Seth Rogen are amongst the cast of the film, which we reviewed rather positively at the Toronto International Film Festival back in September.

James Franco directs The Disaster Artist from a screenplay by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber, based on the book by Greg Sestero and Tom Bissell. The ensemble also features Alison Brie, Zac Efron, Josh Hutcherson, Jacki Weaver, Ari Graynor, and Jason Mantzoukas.

The Disaster Artist is an eye-watering, face-aching crowd-pleaser and the funniest film of the year by quite a mile. I cannot wait to see it again and again.
