Following on from Peter Rabbit and Sherlock Gnomes, both of which got a brand new trailer today, Blue Sky has released a new promo for their upcoming animated adventure Ferdinand, which lands in UK cinemas this December.
After being mistaken for a dangerous beast, Ferdinand is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Set in Spain, Ferdinand proves you can’t judge a bull by its cover.
From Carlos Saldanha (The Ice Age and Rio franchises) and inspired by the beloved book by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson, “Ferdinand” is a heartwarming animated comedy adventure from Blue Sky Studios that tells the story of a giant bull with a big heart. John Cena (Trainwreck, Daddy’s Home) leads an all-star cast that includes Kate McKinnon (Finding Dory, Ghostbusters, The Angry Birds Movie), Gina Rodriguez (Deepwater Horizon, Jane the Virgin), Anthony Anderson (Black-ish, Transformers), David Tennant (Broadchurch, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Doctor Who), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’s Baby, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Bridget Jones’s Diary) and many more.
Ferdinand charges into cinemas on December 9th.
