Vanity Fair has given us a very early Christmas present. The U.S. based magazine has launched a special issue celebrating the ten year anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In ten years, Marvel Studios has delivered 22 ground-breaking movies that have taken billions of dollars around the world. Take a look at these awesome Avengers Infinity War photos on the new magazine covers below.
Inside the magazine, some of the cast spoke about the movies to date and what we can expect from next year’s Avengers: Infinity War and beyond.
“I feel a lot of joy for the next generation,” Black Widow Scarlett Johansson said to the outlet. “It’s a bittersweet feeling, but a positive one.”
Bob Iger, the big boss of Marvel Studios’ parent company Disney, said “We’re looking for worlds that are completely separate — geographically or in time — from the worlds that we’ve already visited.”
“22 movies in, and we’ve got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything that’s come before – intentionally,” Marvel President Kevin Feige added. Avengers: Infinity War“bring things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale. There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting.”
Marevl Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War is due in cinemas next year, so we’ll be due a trailer very soon. The film’s directors, Joe and Anthony Russo posted a cryptic clue on Facebook potentially regarding the first airing of said trailer.
So, is that 3 days until we get to see it? Or maybe December 3rd? We have no idea, obviously. We will, however, keep you posted. Avengers: Infinity War debuts in the UK on April 27th 2018. Check out the new Avengers Infinity War photos in the video below.
