As promised late yesterday, Sony Pictures has delivered the very first trailer for their upcoming superhero spin-off Venom. Tom Hardy leads the cast of the movie, which also includes the likes of Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams and Woody Harrelson.
While the new teaser is pleasing, don’t get too excited as there isn’t actually anything at all of Venom in trailer at all. Sony are obviously holding that back a little while longer.
We’ve not got much of a synopsis for the film as yet, but here’s what has been supplied by Sony so far:
One of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass characters comes to the big screen, starring Academy Award® nominated actor Tom Hardy as the lethal protector Venom.
