The first trailer for the upcoming British film The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society from director Mike Newell and starring Lily James, has arrived. The film, based on the book of the same name by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows, arrives in cinemas on APril 20th, 2018.
Lily James plays free-spirited journalist Juliet Ashton, who forms a life-changing bond with the delightful and eccentric Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, when she decides to write about the book club they formed during the occupation of Guernsey in WWII.
