He will arrive in Berlin later this week with the drama Damsel, but here’s a look at a forthcoming Robert Pattinson movie called High Life. The film is filmmaker Claire Denis’ anticipated English-language debut and revolves around a father and his daughter’s struggle to survive in deep space.
We’ve scouted around the net and WikiPedia has more info on the plot. Their page for the film states the following:
A group of criminals are sent on an alternative energy finding mission in space. Monte, one of the criminals on board previously had a daughter, Willow, against his will through artificial insemination, but comes to love her as they near the end of their journey.
We don’t know too much more about the planned movie, which is being touted to distributors over here in Berlin, but as this is Denis’ English-language debut, expect big things. Jean-Pol Fargeau and novelist Nick Laird co-wrote the screenplay for the film, which also stars Juliette Binoche and Mia Goth.
Shooting has now concluded on the project.
