As part of their upcoming March 9th issue, Entertainment Weekly has released a series of new images from the upcoming series of Westworld. Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan are showrunners on the show, which is set to return to our screens later this year.
Speaking to the outlet, the duo said:
“The scale of season 2 is just nuts, literally right out of the gate. It’s so much more expansive, it makes the first season look like a gentile kitchen drama.”
Nolan added: “We want to feel like the show is rocketing ahead. The first season was a journey inward, this is a journey outward. It’s a search for what else is in the park, and what else is beyond the park.”
Sounds exciting. Westworld season two rides up on HBO on April 22nd. Expect it to hit Sky Atlantic in the UK around that date too. Here are some of those new images from the new season.
