Entertainment Weekly has featured a couple of new images from their forthcoming live-action movie Christoper Robin. The film arrives in cinemas later this year, and revolves around Winnie-the-Pooh and his bunch of friends who reunite with old pal Christopher Robin — who is now an adult.
Ewan McGregor plays the title character in the film, a now-grown-up Christopher, as he meets up once again with Winnie the Pooh and his childhood friends. The film is directed by Marc Forster, based on a screenplay written by Tom McCarthy, Alex Ross Perry, and Allison Schroeder.
Christopher Robin, the little boy from the Winnie-the-Pooh stories, is now all grown up, and has lost all sense of imagination. Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood re-enter Christopher’s life to help him find it again.
Hayley Atwell, Bronte Carmichael, and Mark Gatiss are also amongst the impressive cast in supporting roles, along with the voices of Jim Cummings, Chris O’Dowd, Brad Garrett, Toby Jones, Nick Mohammed, Peter Capaldi, and Sophie Okonedo.
