Did you ever love something so much that you just couldn’t wait till you could put your hands on it?
If you have a book, a TV show, or even a movie you absolutely fell in love with, you know how hard it can get when you have to wait for a sequel to come out. Sometimes you have to wait months, but on some occasions, those months can turn into years, which is quite frustrating.
So if we’re talking about movie sequels, what can you do while you wait? Well, apart from stress-eating, you can also watch the original movie over and over again, thus keeping the plot fresh in your mind.
Moreover, if the movie was a success, there will probably be a computer game or various casino games that you will be able to enjoy in the meantime. There are lots of pokies online real money games that were inspired by popular movies and books, so if you have a strong desire to surround yourself with anything movie-related, this is something you might enjoy doing.
This year, movie sequels will dominate the big screen, and it is a cause for celebration. Do you know which movie sequels took the longest to come out? Find out now, and don’t miss them when they are released!
The Movies and the Sequels
So how much time can pass between two movies before people start to forget about it? Some will say that three years is a long time to wait for a sequel, but in some cases, a decade can pass before the sequel is released. Will you still be interested in watching the movie after so long?
Let’s start with a classic one: “Incredibles 2”. The first movie came out back in 2004, and people loved it to the bones. The last scene of the original movie included a glimpse into the planned sequel, but it never came out. On June 15th, you get to find out what happened to one of the most incredible families on screen, so you can finally relax and enjoy the show!
Another movie we’re all dying to see is “Mary Poppins Returns”. The first movie came out back in the 60’s, and it became a classic and a must-watch in every household. Nobody thought that a sequel was in order, but we got one anyway – so why not go with it? Hopefully, the movie won’t disappoint the fans, and the legendary character will be able to cheer you up once again.
Ten years ago, the first “Mama Mia” movie appeared on the big screen, and since then it managed to capture the hearts of millions all around the world. The musical was a huge success in theaters, so we all wanted a sequel to come out. Shame it didn’t happen sooner, though.
Last but not least, you have the third installment in the “Johnny English” series that will come out in theaters in October. The first movie came out in 2003, and the sequel came out eight years later. Now, after another long wait, it is time you get another dose of pure comedy and action!
All in All…
All four movies are about to come out in theaters in the near futures, and the buzz around them is beyond compare. If you are a bit impatient, don’t forget that you can surround yourself with your favorite characters 24/7 by visiting your local gambling venue.
Get ready, because this is going to be a crazy year in theaters!
