The Big Sick star and co-writer Kumail Nanjiani is in final talks to join the cast of the planned Men In Black reboot over at Sony Pictures. The movie shoots later this year with Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in the lead roles.
We reported last week that none other than Liam Neeson will play the head of the UK arm on the MIB agency. F. Gary Gray is directing for the studio.
The news of Nanjiani’s potential involvement comes via The Hashtag Show whos source says that the actor/comedian will play ‘the third side kick. A funny, wise-cracking, sex-driven alien from a civilization that exists on a Chess board.’
They say that an offer is on the table for Nanjiani, though there has been no official confirmation of talks as yet.
