The cast of Quentin Tarantino’s next movie, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, is continuing to grow after bagging 8 new actors, Deadline is reporting that Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins Jr, Keith Jefferson and Nicholas Hammond have been added to the high-profile project, which is set-up over at Sony Pictures.
They are all expected to play supporting roles in the movie project, which has been written and directed by Tarantino. In the leads are Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Madsen and Tim Roth.
The trade says that the film is set in Los Angeles in the later 1960s/ early 70s, and revolves around Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), the former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognise anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbour: Sharon Tate (Robbie).
In the new film, Lewis will play the iconic actor Steve McQueen; Fanning plays a character named Squeaky Fromme, Hammond will play director Sam Wanamaker; and Hirsch is Jay Sebring, the Hollywood hairstylist who was one of four victims in the Tate murders on Cielo Drive.
The trade adds that Perry is set to play Scotty Lancer, Collins is Ernesto The Mexican Vaquero, and Keith Jefferson is Land Pirate Keith.
Shooting will commence this summer for an August 2019 release.
