The Transformers spin-off movie Bumblebee, which is set to hit cinemas later this year, has just got itself a brand new featurette taking us behind the scenes. Travis Knight directs the movie and this new featurette invites you to meet him via some on-set interviews where he describes the approach and tone he is going for with the highly-anticipated movie.
On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
