She’s currently wowing audiences in the superb action movie Mission: Impossible – Fallout, but Rebecca Ferguson is set to switch franchises and head to Sony Pictures for the in-production Men In Black reboot.
Ferguson will join the likes of Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in the movie, which is being directed by Fast and Furious 8 helmer F. Gary Gray.
No much is known about the plot, but the work on the street is that the action will switch from the United States to the UK for the new movie.
Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani and Rafe Spall are also amongst the cast of the film, which is set for cinemas next summer.
As well as the Men In Black reboot, Ferguson has also signed on to star in The Shining sequel Doctor Sleep. In that movie she will play Rose The Hat. Doctor Sleep is being directed by Mike Flanagan.
Deadline broke the news of both casting updates.
