Netflix has just announced a new film title Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese, a feature which captures the troubled spirit of America in 1975 and the joyous music that Dylan performed during the fall of that year. Part documentary, part concert film, part fever dream, Rolling Thunder is described as a one of a kind experience. I cannot wait until this lands. To celebrate the announcement of the film, which lands on the streamer and in select cinemas from 12 June, we have some key art and an official synopsis. Check both out below.

Every one of Bob Dylan’s performances in the film can be found in the forthcoming box set, Bob Dylan – Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings, a comprehensive anthology of music from the tour to be released June 7 as a companion piece to the film. This 14CD, 148-track collection includes all five of Dylan’s full sets from that tour that were professionally recorded, and also provides the listener with an intimate insider’s seat for recently unearthed tour rehearsals at New York’s S.I.R. studios.
More as we get it.
