It is one of the most successful action franchises of all time and this summer it will get its very first spin-off with the Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson movie Hobbs & Shaw, but The Fast and the Furious series will continue in its main series ac with a ninth movie, which has just kicked off shooting.
Actor and producer Vin Diesel has shared a video from the set of the movie, one featuring co-star Michelle Rodriguez who also returns as Letty. Sharing with his 55 million followers on Instagram, Diesel said: “Can you believe it, Letty? Can you believe it? We just completed our first day and it feels like a miracle.”
The film will be released in cinemas in May 2020. Also amongst the cast are Jordana Brewster, Lucas Black, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Cena and Tyrese Gibson, amongst others. Plot details haven’t been revealed as yet, but we’ll keep you posted. Watch the video above.
