The film is now in production in various locations across the globe and a few weeks ago we got wind that Charlize Theron would be reprising her role as Cipher in Fast and Furious 9. Well, Theron herself has posted a couple of images from the set of the film, unveiling quite a new look for the F&F villain. The dreadlocks are no more.
Justin Lin is returning to the franchise to direct, the cast including the likes of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel and John Cena.
It was also revealed that Helen Mirren would also be returning as Magdalene Shaw, mother to Luke Evans’ Owen Shaw and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw. Mirren was briefly seen in this summer’s spin-off Hobbs & Shaw which has been a huge success, taking in a whopping $700 million since its release a month ago.
