Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige Set To Develop New ‘Star Wars’ Movie At Disney

In breaking news, it is being reported that Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige is to team with Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy for a new Star Wars movie. The news broke via The Hollywood Reporter who says that the new film will be developed by Star Wars fan Feige and Kennedy in the near future.

In a statement, Walt Disney Studios co-chairman and chief creative officer Alan Horn said:

“We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of Star Wars but also Indiana Jones and reaching into other parts of the company including Children of Blood and Bone with Emma Watts and Fox. With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Wars film together.”

The is huge news for the franchise and we can’t wait to see what Marvel magic Feige can bring to proceedings. The next Star Wars movie to hit cinemas will be the final installment in the Skywalker saga, Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker in December.
