Shooting Reportedly Complete On ‘A Quiet Place’ Sequel

In a new social media post filmmaker and actor John Krasinski has revealed that shooting has come to end on the sequel to A Quiet Place. The film, which is due in cinemas next year, is a follow-up to the sleeper horror hit from 2018 that starred Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe.

Filming started back in July and the film is heading for a March 2019 release.

Not much is known about the plot of the second film but a few minor details have spilled since shooting started.

“Emily actually blew my mind by categorizing it the correct way after I pitched it to her. She said, ‘This isn’t a sequel at all — this is the second book in a series of books. It’s a widening of a world,” Krasinski explained to Business Insider in a recent interview.

Here’s Krasinskis’s Instagram post that confirmed the completion of filming on the highly anticipated sequel.
