Here’s a new look at the third series set in the world of The Walking Dead. Following the successful release of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, the next series is co-created by Scott M. Gimple, with Matt Negrete on board as co-creator and showrunner, though has yet to get a title. The series will star Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Annet Mahendru, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston and Nico Tortorella.
The new series will feature two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.
It was also announced on Monday that the new series, produced by AMC Studios, will screen on Amazon Prime across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe (excluding Spain and Portugal). The series will be available in North and South America, Spain and Portugal on AMC.
We have a short teaser, below.
The new series will land in 2020.
