The casting on Matt Reeves’ The Batman continues to impress as new reaches us that Jeffrey Wright has officially joined in the role of police chief Commissioner Jim Gordon. He joins the already cast Robert Pattinson as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman.
The news was announced by Reeves himself on his social media accounts.

The Batman is set to go before the cameras next year before a big summer 2021 release. The exact date for release is 21st June of that year. That will land in cinemas a month before another big and highly anticipated DC movie, The Suicide Squad from James Gunn.
Joker is still playing in cinemas, the highly regarded Joaquin Phoenix starrer – which is a complete stand-alone, and we have the return of Harley Quinn to look forward to in just a couple of months in Birds Of Prey.
More on all of these as news comes in.
