The very first teaser trailer for the upcoming BBC/FX co-production of A Christmas Carol has dropped onto YouTube. The limited series is based on the novel of the same name by Charles Dickens and comes to the small screen this holiday season.
Amongst the cast are the likes of Guy Pearce, Stephen Graham, Andy Serkis, Joe Alwyn, Charlotte Riley and Vinette Robinson with the script written by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Taboo). Tom Hardy and Ridley Scott amongst the executive producers of the production.
The Wikipedia page for the show also shows Tom Hardy as being amongst the cast in an undisclosed role but this hasn’t been confirmed on any of the official releases we’ve seen today.
A Christmas Carol will play on the BBC in the UK and FX in the U.S.
