The Latest Featurette For ‘Last Christmas’ Focusses On The Music Of George Michael

In just a week’s time we will bear witness to a new festive movie named Last Christmas. The film stars Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding, is directed by Paul Feig and is written by Emma Thompson and playwright Bryony Kimmings. It is a romantic comedy set during the Christmas season and frankly, I can’t wait.

We’ll have a full review of the film as soon as possible, but for now here’s a brand new featurette focusing on the music of George Michael whose legendary tunes are at the heart of the movie.

Kate (Emilia Clarke) harumphs around London, a bundle of bad decisions accompanied by the jangle of bells on her shoes, another irritating consequence from her job as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop. Tom (Henry Golding) seems too good to be true when he walks into her life and starts to see through so many of Kate’s barriers. As London transforms into the most wonderful time of the year, nothing should work for these two. But sometimes, you gotta let the snow fall where it may, you gotta listen to your heart … and you gotta have faith.

Here. the cast and crew talk about the use of Michael’s music in the movie and how it fits into the narrative. Last Christmas is released in cinemas on 15th November.
