The much-lauded TV adaptation of Sally Rooney’s international literary phenomenon, Normal People, is set to arrive on digital download for fans and viewers to own from 3 July. This exquisite and compulsive modern love story will be released on the following digital platforms: iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Sky Store and Virgin Media .
Starring Daisy Edgar-Jones (War Of The Worlds, Cold Feet) as Marianne and Paul Mescal, in his first television role, as Connell, the series follows these two people navigating adulthood in contemporary Ireland, and their complicated relationship from the end of their school days in Sligo to their undergraduate years at Trinity College. It also stars Sarah Greene (Dublin Murders, Rosie) and Aislin McGuckin (Outlander).

Sally Rooney adapted her coming-of-age book with Alice Birch along with Irish playwright Mark O’Rowe. Normal People is directed by the Oscar-nominated film-maker Lenny Abrahamson (Room) and English director Hettie Macdonald and is produced by the Oscar and BAFTA award-winning production company Element Pictures.
