Check out this brand new trailer for an upcoming British film titled The Unfamiliar which is bound for digital in September. The film is directed by Henk Pretorius and will be released by Dark Matter Studios.
The official synopsis is as follows:
British Army Doctor, Elizabeth “Izzy” Cormack, returns from war to rekindle her relationship with her estranged family. Izzy notices numerous inexplicable activities in her house that her husband believes are due to her suffering from PTSD as a consequence of war. Izzy militantly pieces the daunting puzzle together to reveal a terrifying, invisible enemy that has infested her entire family. In a heroic attempt to save her family, she is pulled into a dark underworld in Hawaii to explore ancient mythology.
Amongst the cast are Jemima West, Christopher Dane, Rebecca Hanssen, Rachel Lin, and Harry McMillan-Hunt. The film gets a release on 21st August 2020 through Vertical Entertainment in North America, followed by Lionsgate UK in the United Kingdom on 11 September 2020. Here’s that trailer.
