Trailer for ‘Savage’ – a film inspired by the true stories of New Zealand’s street gangs

Here’s a promo for an interesting one. Savage comes to cinemas on 4th September and lands on screens from writer/ director Sam Kelly. According to the official blurb, the movies is inspired by the true stories of New Zealand’s street gangs and stars Jake Ryan (The Great Gatsby, Blue World Order, Wolf Creek), John Tui
(Solo: A Star Wars Story), and Chelsie Preston Crayford (What We Do In The Shadows). Very much looking forward to seeing this one. Vertigo Releasing will distribute the film (UK).

The official synopsis is as follows:

Inspired by the true stories of New Zealand’s street gangs across 30 years, SAVAGE retraces the footsteps of one of its founding members at three different critical moments in his life. Torn between his biological family and the gang he now calls his own, Danny has to make a choice.
