Universal Pictures has debuted the first trailer for Let Him Go, an upcoming new drama led by Kevin Costner and Diane Lane which will land in cinemas soon. The film is written for the screen and directed by Thomas Bezucha. it is based on the novel of the same name by Larry Watson. Lesley Manville, Jeffrey Donovan, Kayli Carter, Booboo Stewart, and Will Brittain are also amongst the cast.
Following the loss of their son, retired sheriff George Blackledge (Costner) and his wife Margaret (Lane) leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid in the Dakotas, headed by matriarch Blanche Weboy. When they discover the Weboys have no intention of letting the child go, George and Margaret are left with no choice but to fight for their family.
We have the poster and the aforementioned trailer for the movie, both of which you can see above and below.. As far as I can see, the film has a released date set for 6th November in the US and 4th December in the UK.
