Trailer: Documentary ‘Brothers In Arms’ goes behind the scenes of ‘Platoon’

The feature doc. will be released in October.

A trailer has dropped for the upcoming Brothers In Arms: The Making Of Platoon, a feature-length documentary that goes behind the scenes of one of the greatest war movies ever made, Platoon.

Oliver Stone’s Platoon is widely regarded as one of the best war films ever made and changed the face of cinema forever through its raw, honest and deeply moving portrayal of young American soldiers serving during the Vietnam war.

Now, Brothers in Arms: The Making of Platoon is the feature-length story of how this iconic, four-time Oscar winning film came to be, featuring new interviews with the actors who would go on to become major stars.

Narrated by Charlie Sheen (Anger Management, Wall Street), the cast and crew share stories making this non-union, low budget, independent film. They share memories of the gruelling boot camp, Stone’s unique directing style, the harsh filming conditions that forged their eternal brotherhood, and the lasting legacy of this cinematic masterpiece.

Featuring interviews with Johnny Depp (Black Mass, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street), Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse, Murder on the Orient Express), Kevin Dillon (Entourage, Poseidon), Tom Berenger (Inception, Sniper), Keith David (Greenleaf, 21 Bridges), Tony Todd (The Flash, Candyman), John C. McGinley (Chicago P.D, Scrubs) and many more, Brothers in Arms: The Making of Platoon is the ultimate tribute to one of the greatest movies ever made.

Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment presents Brothers in Arms: The Making of Platoon on DVD & Digital Download from 5th October 2020. Here’s the trailer.
