The first look trailer for season three of Star Trek Discovery has landed. The promo actually appeared on the Discovery Panel as part of Star Trek Day this week. CBS landed the promo for the third run ahead of its debut in the U.S. in October. Star Trek Discovery goes out on Netflix outside of its domestic soil.
Here’s the synopsis for series 3.
After making the jump in the second season finale, season three of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY finds the U.S.S. Discovery crew dropping out of the wormhole and into an unknown future far from the home they once knew. Now living in a time filled with uncertainty, the U.S.S. Discovery crew, along with the help of some new friends, must together fight to regain a hopeful future.
The “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 3 premiere airs on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi Channel and streams on Crave in Canada on Thursday, Oct. 15, and on Oct. 16 on Netflix in 190 countries. Check out the panel – which runs to 20 minutes, starting with the new trailer for season 3 – below.
