What do we do when we are obsessed with a movie? We can’t stop thinking about our favorite on-screen characters and they can often influence our outfits and accessories in everyday life. Here’s a roundup of our favorite glasses worn on-screen by some of the most recognizable frames we’ve seen stars wear over the years.

Superman

Starting with the epitome of an on-screen “hero”, we take a look at Clark Kent and his harmless facade from the 1978 release featuring Christopher Reeve. His glasses are one of the only facial characteristics which differentiate him from his alter ego- Superman.

Harry Potter

Another highly recognizable character from the big screen, Harry Potter is a famous glasses-wearer. He wears round metal glasses, which other than his lightning-shaped scar, makes him distinguishable from the other characters in the movie.

A Single Man

After the huge success of the movie, “A Single Man Glasses” were created by many designers, most popularly, by Tom Ford. Such a bold, black frame was worn by the ever-loved character portrayed by Colin Firth.

Skyfall

It takes a character as iconic and classy as James Bond to really sell a pair of specs, and what about Daniel Craig’s appearance in Skyfall as the perfect example of class and style?

Avengers Infinity War

Taking a cue from the genius who is Tony Stark, brings us to his pair of stylish frames seen throughout the Marvel movies in which he stars, including Avengers: Infinity War..

Rocketman

This film dramatizes the life story of music legend, Elton John, who changed the world in the ’70s with his music. The artist’s unique and unapologetic style was brought to life on the big screen with Taron Egerton sporting more than 70 frames in the 2-hour long movie.

Pretty in Pink

Let’s go back to the ‘80s classic, starring Molly Ringwald’s sensitive yet strong character, Andie Walsh.
