Looking down at our calendars, we can see that it is no less than two months until Christmas Day. Not wishing to alarm you, but we draw your attention to the festive period for a new look at the upcoming Mel Gibson Santa Clause movie, Fatman, which has just got a new clip. Walton Goggins and Marianne Jean-Baptiste are also amongst the cast of the film, which is written and directed by Eshom Nelms and Ian Nelms.
Synopsis: To save his declining business, Chris Cringle (Mel Gibson), also known as Santa Claus, is forced into a partnership with the U.S. military. Making matters worse, Chris gets locked into a deadly battle of wits against a highly skilled assassin (Walton Goggins), hired by a precocious 12-year-old after receiving a lump of coal in his stocking. ‘Tis the season for Fatman to get even, in the action-comedy that keeps on giving.
Saban Films will be releasing the film Stateside on 13th November (cinemas) and then on demand and digital from 17th November. We have not heard of any UK release as yet, but we’ll keep you posted on that.
