Trailer and release date for George Clooney’s ‘The Midnight Sky’

Confirmed to release in December.

Netflix has released the trailer and official release date for the George Clooney-directed and starring The Midnight Sky. The film has been confirmed to land on the streamer in December, just before Christmas. Felicity Jones, David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler, Demián Bichir and Tiffany Boone are also amongst the cast of the movie, while Clooney directs from a screenplay by Mark L. Smith, based on the book Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton.

Synopsis: This post-apocalyptic tale follows Augustine (George Clooney), a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning home to a mysterious global catastrophe. Clooney directs the adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s acclaimed novel Good Morning, Midnight.

The exact date for the release of the movie is 23rd December on Netflix worldwide after a brief run in cinemas. Here’s the trailer as well as some pretty impressive key art.
