The third feature film from director Chloé Zhao…

Searchlight Pictures has released a brand new trailer for Chloé Zhao’s hugely acclaimed Nomadland, which comes to cinemas next year. The film has garnered great reviews on the festival circuit and will land on screens in February. Following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, Fern (Frances McDormand) packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad.

Here’s a new poster.

The third feature film from director Chloé Zhao, Nomadland features real nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern’s mentors and comrades in her exploration through the vast landscape of the American West.

Our review of the film called the film ‘an overwhelmingly emotional, cathartic experience through masterfully gentle storytelling – cinema so pure that it demands to be felt.’ You can read the rest of the reviw here.

Nomadland opens in cinemas on 21st February. Here’s the new trailer.
