Interview: Lindsey Morgan on new sci-fi sequel ‘Skylines’

In cinemas from Friday.

Lindsey Morgan has spent the last seven seasons playing mega-genius mechanic Raven Reyes in The 100. It’s a role that she truly made her own, but now that the show has ended, it’s time for audiences to see what else she is capable of, with Skylines offering many new sides to her talent. In Skylines she plays Captain Rose Corley, an alien-human hybrid who is tasked with leading a team of elite mercenaries on a mission to an alien world in order to save humanity.

It’s not the first time that Morgan has played the role, her iteration of Rose appearing briefly at the end of Beyond Skylines, but here the character takes on the lead role and offers plenty for Morgan to sink her teeth into. It’s also a very action-heavy story, one that will appeal to fans of Aliens, Starship Troopers, and the like, meaning that Morgan had to tap into a whole new skillset.

Ahead of the release on Friday 18th December we sat down with Lindsey to talk about the film.

Skylines arrives in select UK cinemas and digitally on demand from 18th December.
