Netflix announces premiere date for ‘Sky Rojo’ – from the creators of ‘Money Heist’

The new series will land in March.

Netflix has announced the premiere date for a new series from Álex Pina, the man behind the likes of Money Heist and the more recent White Lines (which I actually loved – even though it was cancelled after the first season). The streamer has announced that new eight-parter Sky Rojo will land on their service from March.

Here’s what it is all about.

From the creators of Money Heist comes this new series filled with action, dark humor and pure adrenaline. Coral, Wendy and Gina go on the run in search of freedom while being chased by Romeo, their pimp from Las Novias Club, and his henchmen, Moises and Christian. Together, the women embark on a frantic, chaotic journey during which they must face dangers of all kinds and live every second as if it were their last, while strengthening their friendship and discovering the most important thing: that together they are stronger and have more options to recover their lives.

Sky Rojo is created by Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato. Each episode will reportedly be 25 minutes long and all eight will land on Netflix from 19th March. Here’s the announcement trailer.
