Go behind the scenes of Spike Lee’s ‘Da 5 Bloods’ in near 30-minute documentary

Da 5 Bloods is still available on Netflix.

One of the best movies of last year was Spike Lee’s brilliant Da 5 Bloods and now Netflix has offered up a brand new ‘making of’ documentary which runs at nearly 30 minutes long. The behind-the-scenes look was posted to YouTube and can be watched for free right now.

From Academy Award® Winner Spike Lee comes a New Joint: the story of four African-American Vets — Paul (Delroy Lindo), Otis (Clarke Peters), Eddie (Norm Lewis), and Melvin (Isiah Whitlock, Jr.) — who return to Vietnam. Searching for the remains of their fallen Squad Leader (Chadwick Boseman) and the promise of buried treasure, our heroes, joined by Paul’s concerned son (Jonathan Majors), battle forces of Man and Nature — while confronted by the lasting ravages of The Immorality of The Vietnam War.

Da 5 Bloods is still available to watch on Netflix and if you haven’t managed to do that yet, we urge you to at your nearest opportunity.
