“The journey has begun and there’s no turning back. Are you in?” Netflix India has released the trailer for their version of The Girl On The Train. I’m not sure where this will be available internationally, but will obviously be available on Netflix India, in fact from later this month on February 26th.
The Girl On The Train is the story of Meera (Parineeti Chopra), who fixates on the perfect lives of a couple from afar, during her daily commutes on the train. One day, she witnesses something out of the ordinary, that shocks her. The film follows her journey as she tries to unravel the truth.
The Girl On The Train is an official adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ bestselling book by the same name which, of course, was adapted into a big Hollywood movie back in 2016 led by Emily Blunt.
Unlike that movie, this one will be set in London. It is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Reliance Entertainment.
