The massive TV drama series The Undoing is getting a physical home release next month. The limited series led by Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant was a huge hit in 202 during lockdown, and will set its sights for DVD and Blu-ray from 22nd March through Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Kidman and Grant play a successful New York-based couple caught up in the investigation into the murder of young mother Elena Alves.
The Undoing follows Grace (Kidman) and Jonathan Fraser (Grant), who are living the only lives they ever wanted for themselves. Overnight, a chasm opens in their lives: a violent death and a chain of terrible revelations. Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child and her family.
The show was the first HBO Original Series to grow viewership consistently week after week over the course of its season, and aired at the tail end of 2020 on Sky Atlantic in the UK. The six-parter was compulsory viewing as the mystery around Alves’ death unravelled week after week.
Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant and Donald Sutherland were all nominated for Golden Globes for the series this week, while the show was also nominated in the Best Limited Series, Anthology or TV Film category.
