Trailer for acclaimed horror film ‘Rose: A Love Story’ with Sophie Rundle and Matt Stokoe

The film premiered to strong reviews at last year’s LFF.

Rose: A Love Story is a chilling, deeply moving and critically-acclaimed horror thriller starring Sophie Rundle (Peaky Blinders, Jamestown, Bodyguard) and Matt Stokoe (Cursed, Jamestown, Misfits). Gripped by a violent, terrifying illness, Rose lives in seclusion with her husband, but the arrival of a stranger shatters the fragile refuge they have built. We have the new trailer prior to its release on digital platforms on 5th April.

The British film premiered at last year’s BFI London Film Festival and received strong reviews. It was also nominated for the BIFA Raindance Discovery Award.

We loved the film, too, catching it at LFF last October. We said; ‘Atmospheric, chilling, and gorgeous, it’s been a while since someone attempted something new within the vampire genre, and with Rose: A Love Story, Sheridan offers something wonderfully inventive and impressive.’

Sophie Rundle will next be seen in the sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders, which is currently filming. Most recently, Sophie was seen alongside George Clooney in his recent sci fi feature The Midnight SkyRose: A Love Story was written by Matt Stokoe and directed by Jennifer Sheridan.

Here’s the trailer.
