Here’s some great news to kick off your Tuesday. This actually broke yesterday, but Disney has revealed further cast members for the planned Obi-Wan Kenobi series set for Disney+. The show is billed as a ‘special event series’ alluding to the fact that it may be a one-off, but that’s obviously not confirmed. This is so exciting.
Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie are all confirmed to star in Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+, production for which will kick off soon. The news was shared via the Star Wars social channels.

Deborah Chow will helm the series after directing episodes of the superb The Mandalorian, which is now streaming on Disney+.
