The story will be split into two parts and is set to land soon.

Check out this brand new trailer for the animated movie Batman: The Long Halloween which is set to bow soon, though we don’t have any visibility of an official release date as yet. The film is based on the 13-issue comic books series of the same name from the nineties and looks absolutely brilliant.

The trailer was debut on YouTUbe via IGN who also gave a brief synopsis: Inspired by the iconic mid-1990s DC story from Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One begins as a brutal murder on Halloween prompts Gotham’s young vigilante, the Batman, to form a pact with the city’s only two uncorrupt lawmen (Police Captain James Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent) in order to take down The Roman, head of the notorious and powerful Falcone Crime Family.

The voice cast includes Naya Rivera (Glee) in one of her final perfomances as Catwoman/Selina Kyle, as well as Josh Duhamel (Transformers, Las Vegas) as Harvey Dent, Billy Burke (Twilight, Revolution, Zoo) as James Gordon, and Titus Welliver (Bosch) as Carmine Falcone.

Check out the trailer for part one below. We’ll keep you updated on release dates.
