Check out this trailer for an upcoming Netflix film titled Awake. This one is coming to the streaming platform very soon and is one of those concept-led movies with quite a hook – basically, humans are no longer able to sleep and there are no electronics in the world. Sounds great.
Here’s a little bit more about the film.
Chaos ensues after a global event wipes out all electronics and takes away humankind’s ability to sleep. But Jill (Gina Rodriguez), an ex-soldier with a troubled past, may hold the key to a cure in the form of her own daughter.
