Here’s a trailer for an upcoming movie titled The Birthday Cake which features quite the cast. Shiloh Fernandez, Ewan McGregor, Val Kilmer, Lorraine Bracco, William Fichtner, Ashley Benson, Aldis Hodge, Penn Badgley, Vincent Pastore, Luis Guzmán, Jeremy Allen White, and Emory Cohen are all amongst the main cast of the film which will start to roll out from 18th June.
Here’s the synopsis:
Gio brings a cake to a memorial celebration for the 10th anniversary of his father’s mysterious death, hosted by his uncle (Kilmer), a Brooklyn mafia boss. His life begins to change as he pieces together what really happened to his father.
The above release date is for the North American market, which is all I can see in terms of it debuting at the moment. We’ll keep you updated if that changes.
